Forum: web Subject: Probably and old question - downloading an entire site

Folks - apology's as I'm sure there must be a FAQ for this somewhere but can anyone assist with the following please.

After years of absence from the web I intend re-launching one or two of my old sites. As the years have gone by I've lost my local back-ups but I note that the wayback machine does actually have most of the key data archived.

I could visit and download one page at a time but baring in mind that I have a life in the real world as well as on-line this would take weeks and even then I might miss some pages. Is there any quick link available to download an entire site or perhaps some spider software that will automate the download anyone can recommend.

Failing that any suggestions very gratefully received.

Chris

Indeed this is (partly) covered in the FAQ: https://archive.org/about/faqs.php#26

Ahhh ... disappointing but understandable

I did look for the FAQ ... honest :-)

One page at a time it is then. Thanks for taking the time to reply, it's appreciated.
